Burgess Meredith

Burgess Meredith has been in a lot of my favorite TV shows and movies growing up — from my favorite episode of “The Twilight Zone” (pictured here) to being in “Clash of the Titans” — I wrote him in the ’90s to tell him how much I admired his performances in those as well as his role as Mickey in the Rocky series.  He sent back a signed 8×10 (which I’ve since lost) and two signed index cards, one of which is pictured below.
