Damon Wayans

So this one is awesome…back about 15 years ago I caught Damon Wayans’ standup routine in a club in Kansas City.  There were some drunk hecklers in the audience that kept repeatedly crying for him to do his various In Living Color characters.  I loved the way he dismantled them — he stopped in the middle of his routine, stared them down, and sarcastically said “not to-night!”  To me, it was perfect.

I wrote to Mr. Wayans and told him about how much that line has cracked me up after all these years…so he signed the two 8x10s I sent to him perfectly:  one with his signature, the second with “Not tonight!” on it.  Love it!
